A GROUP of Year 10 students at The Petersfield School have had their work entered into an exhibition.

Lydia Morris, Hannah Hastings, Kate Kendall Weiss and Amenie Curd had their work entered into the prestigious Royal Society of British Artists National Students Exhibition.

It is a hugely competitive exhibition where the standard of work is very high.

Hannah, Kate and Amenie received Highly Commended certificates for the quality of their paintings while Lydia’s work was chosen to be on display in the exhibition at the Mall Galleries near Buckingham Palace.

Gary Leeson, head of visual arts at the school, said: “It is an amazing accolade for these students and fantastic that Lydia has been entered into the show. These are very talented artists of the future.”
